Booking Terms and Conditions - Kids Club
- We allow up to 2 juniors per allocated time slot.
- For safety reasons, we do not allow groups of children sharing one swim.
- Parents are responsible for their children being appropriately dressed for the weather forecast (waterproofs if it's wet or a hat and sunblock if it's hot and sunny and always good footwear, trainers are fine but flip flops aren't safe near water) and juniors need to have an EA rod license.
- Parents are welcome to stay or leave the children with us, however if parents leave the children with us the child must stay with the group at all times. They will not be able to leave the area for food or beverages once the session has started.
- Weather cancellations. As this is a summer event we shouldn't hopefully encounter dangerous weather. However, in poor weather conditions a decision would be made on the day and an option to take the children inside to shelter would be made, as soon as the weather improves fishing would resume as soon as possible.
- In the event of dangerous weather (electrical storms or exceptionally high wind) we offer a full refund.
Booking Terms and Conditions - Fishing
- There is a 50% non- refundable deposit on all overnight bookings for fishing - we do not take bookings for day ticket angling (at the weekends) but please call and check availability as we may be able to accommodate you - particularly on week days.
- Where a customer has paid for their booking in full - and a cancellation is made (on their part) only 50 % will be refundable. If the fault lies with Wyreside Lakes for example; the lakes are flooded or frozen and there is no alternative water to move customers too, then a full refund will be given or a credit note issued. All monies paid are non-refundable and non-transferable to other clients. Bookings can only be moved to another date 7 days or more prior to arrival. Our online booking system will only allow date transfers for a maximum 3 times.
- All weekend bookings for 48hrs must be paid for in full whether the angler fishes the full 48hrs or not. For example, a booking is made for 2 nights at a rate of £25 per night for an angler fishing 3 rds. The customer does not arrive on the Friday night but comes on the Saturday instead - because the swim has been held for the first 24hrs- they will still be charged for the full 48hrs.
- All our bookings are taken online. Change will not be given from any gift vouchers.
- Any anglers fishing Monday to Friday and departing before the weekend -must vacate the water by 12 midday on Friday so swims are clear for weekend anglers arriving. You must ensure that you arrive before 12 midday so that you maximise your full booking time.
- All anglers are allowed a maximum of 2 visitors throughout the day at any one time. All visitors must report into reception and sign in, stating their reason for visiting and they must purchase a car parking pass. All day visitors must have left the site by the time stipulated at reception (alters with daylight hours over the year generally no later than 8pm during the summer months and 5pm during the winter months).
- Anglers are only allowed spouses, partners or children as overnight guests - strictly no male adult guests are allowed. There are camping charges in force per guest- please see campsite price list for applicable charges.
- Saturday 24hr bookings- all anglers should arrive after midday on the Saturday as anglers fishing 24hrs from Friday will be departing in the afternoon.
- Wyreside Lakes reserves the right to make any changes to individual or lake bookings if necessary.
