Dear Camping Customer,
We are pleased to announce that we are now able to re-open areas of the campsite However, we must stress that we will be opening parts in sections and currently we are only opening to our seasonal caravan members along with 7 electric caravan / moho pitches, 10 tent electric pitches and 10 non electric pitches. If we do decide to open more pitches througout the summer we will make an announcement in advance and open up the booking system accordingly.
We are operating a ‘Track and Trace system’ This is why it is imperative that we only greet customers who are pre booked. We will not allow any turn ups or visitors on site – no exceptions – any persons trying to ‘sneak’ in guests will be asked to leave immediately without refund.
We need full information for our local council / the government in case we have to report a case discovered on the site and also to the R.I.D.D.O.R governing body. Please respect social distancing measures whilst you are visiting with us, even if you are from the same family but from different households. Children should be kept under close supervision at all times.
We hope you will bear with us in the initial weeks as we tentatively open our doors - there will be many differences as we are not yet fully operational. The bar and restaurant will remain closed but we will be operating a daily takeaway delivered to key points around the campsite. The children’s play areas indoor and outdoor will remain closed and the onsite shop will be open but you will be served from the front door by a member of staff.
We have taken our responsibilities very seriously with regards to health and safety here at Wyreside so that you can all feel safe when booking, in the knowledge that we have everything covered while you are staying with us. and we have put risk assessments in place to cover all aspects of the fishery and campsite. Each elsan point, washing up area and toilet and shower area has its own cleaning station which will be checked and refilled daily. Our COVID booking and information policy can be found on our website and underneath.
Please ensure that you read it carefully when booking and copies will be also given out on your arrival. https://wyreside.fra1.cdn.digitaloceanspaces.com/…/INFO%20S…
We hope you have a safe and happy stay with us, please help us to keep the virus at bay, the faster we can eradicate it, the quicker all our onsite facilities will be able to open!
Our award winning campsite has a full range of facilities for overnight stays including grass electric pitches for caravans, campervans and motor homes and lush green fields for tents to camp on.
There is toilet and shower block, which are all free of charge to use, including a disabled/baby changing room (this room is kept locked so please ask for a key) and also an onsite shop and launderette, equipped with hairdryer and iron.
For the children there is a safe outdoor play area and lots of wildlife and a wood to investigate - Please note: the river Wyre runs adjacent to the wood and can be very dangerous.
